Brooks elementary will receive funds to purchase kick scooters for physical education class and STEM materials for fifth grade classrooms.

DEF awarded fifteen grants totaling: $14,996.97 to teachers and classrooms in D428 schools on March 13, 2025.

Teachers wrote grants for educational supplies that will enhance learning experiences for our students. Awarding these grants was possible because of the generous support of the DeKalb community. Thanks to everyone who supports DEF throughout the year.

Kindergarten students across the district will receive funds to help cover cost for a field trip to Russell Woods.
Early Learning Development Center students will get new block playing center and kitchen set.
