DEF awarded fourteen grants totaling: $15,045.99 to teachers and classrooms in D428 schools on November 13, 2025.

Teachers wrote grants for educational supplies that will enhance learning experiences for our students. Awarding these grants was possible because of the generous support of the DeKalb community. Thanks to everyone who supports DEF throughout the year.

DeKalb High School students in CTE Teacher Dayna Anderson's class — DeKalb High School teacher Dayna Anderson wrote a grant requesting a LabQuest Data analyzer for her CTE classes.
